This was the year.
The year that I crossed over.
To the dark side.
And into my thirties.
I must admit,
I had been dreading it
all through my 29th year.
Now that I’ve made the leap
and joined the club,
I have to say
that the countdown
was the hard part
and now I’m actually
excited about 30.
I seriously celebrated
all week.
But here are some photos
from just Friday night.
We went to the
Ozark Corn Maze
and then out on the town.
Thank you to everyone
for such a warm welcome
to the big 3-0!

GL(who’s a high school teacher)
had her class make me this poster.
So cute!
And quite hilarious
when you read it up close.
The maze!
This sign was already set up
for a little girl’s party.
Haha.
Yeah, we got lost.
The Cow Train!
Now this was fun.
It was so freakin bumpy,
I’m surprised it doesn’t scare the kids.
I’m a cheap date.
$1.50 hot dog birthday dinner.
And it was sooo good.
Drinks at Kingfish.
GL & Brains got me a Hobo clutch
& a sparkly headband.
Love!
Being surprised by cake!
You can see it way in the back.
A pedi-cab ride on Dickson.
My very first time
at Roger’s Rec.
Lots of fun
for my lots of years.
Thanks, friends & family!
For the gifts that I haven’t mentioned here,
the phone calls,
the Tweets
and the Facebooks.
You guys are the best.
Thank you.
