My good pal GL
invited me as her plus one
to her friend’s wedding in
Punta Mita, Mexico
this past weekend.
However, this wasn’t just
any ole ceremony.
It was a lavish, three day affair
celebrating the civil union
between the beautiful bride, Christina,
and none other than Joe Francis.
Yes, THAT Joe Francis.
So many people are quick to judge,
but I have to say he (and everyone at the wedding)
was nothing but warm, welcoming, and beyond generous.
Everything about the weekend
was beyond amazing.

The story of our travels…
We were actually quite lucky to make it into the Puerto Vallarta airport late Thursday morning. About an hour after we arrived, a plane CRASH LANDED at our airport. Tons of guests like Lance Bass, Cheryl Tiegs, and the Jenners (yes, a few celebs were in attendance) were re-routed to Guadalajara or worse – sent back to the states. Lance & Cheryl’s wild ride was reported by Page Six in the New York Post. I would have been in freak out mode if that had happened to us, but it seems they made the most of it.
After an hour ride from the airport, we arrived at the gorgeous St. Regis Punta Mita Resort. At check-in we were greeted with glasses of champagne and mini massages. Oh, and the view wasn’t bad either.
After a golf cart ride to our room…
… we re-created our first picture post about heading to Mexico.
Our butler, Hector, helped us get settled into our room.
First things first.
We restocked our mini-bar with
Corona, champagne, & Perrier only. Duh.
We lunched oceanside.
Coronas served over ice and with a straw?
Works for me.
Also,
Best. Shrimp. Tacos. EVER.
The first night we lounged around the resort and had a few drinks at the lobby bar before heading over to Joe’s ah-may-zing beachfront home.
One of the many resort pools.
First sunset at the lobby bar.
Our time in Mexico was spent between the resort and Casa Aramara. The days and nights were full of endless drinks, over-the-top food, new friends, entertainment, music, swimming, a white party, dancing, champagne toasts, drag queens, massages, mani/pedis, fireworks, and of course the beautiful ceremony.
I’ll leave the details to OK Magazine, which featured the event…
Our fun in photos…
The ride back to the airport…
Congrats to the happy couple & thank you for an incredible weekend!
Adios!
