I’ve been laying low since Mexico.
But I’ve managed to snap a few
photos here and there.

Honestly, it’s hard to put the camera away
when Fayetteville is this pretty in fall.

There was the last Hogs home game.

A walk across town.

Across town to meet friends at a bar, of course.

I also was asked to take
engagement photos for Steven & Amanda.
Not only did I have fun shooting them,
but I’m pretty sure Amanda & I could be
long lost sisters with all
that we have in common…
or at least good friends!

Ozark Couture & Snoop Dogg

Last Saturday I had the honor of wearing
some very purty designs by my
friend,
hairdresser,
and now clothing designer,
Taylor Sutton
for the first ever Ozark Couture fashion show .

I swear, her fingers are
like ten tiny magic wands.
She is so creative with
everything
she puts her hands on.
Literally.
From my hair,
to the dress I wore last Saturday,
the girl is so talented in what she does.
Oh and she’s pretty fun to hang out with too.

We spent the afternoon back at the salon,
the early evening at Ozark Couture
(which featured even more creative local talent),
and the rest of the night out on Dickson.

Below are photos from myself,
as well as some amazing black & white film shots taken by
Bob Cochran, the brother of one of my fellow models.

The entire day/night was a blast.

Fayetteville’s awesomeness can surprise you sometimes.
From the fashion show on Saturday,
to the Snoop Dogg concert on Sunday,
this weekend was jam packed of fun.

After hearing the classic “Gin & Juice”
at the Snoop Dogg concert,
I headed home because I wasn’t feeling very well.

If I had stayed around,
I could have met Snoop
(and Ryan Mallett)
like my girls GL & Brandy did…

I’m pretty sure
Ryan Mallett and GL
make quite the couple.
Just sayin.

This was the year.
The year that I crossed over.
To the dark side.
And into my thirties.

I must admit,
I had been dreading it
all through my 29th year.

Now that I’ve made the leap
and joined the club,
I have to say
that the countdown
was the hard part
and now I’m actually
excited about 30.

I seriously celebrated
all week.
But here are some photos
from just Friday night.

We went to the
Ozark Corn Maze
and then out on the town.

to the big 3-0!

GL(who’s a high school teacher)
had her class make me this poster.
So cute!
And quite hilarious

It was so freakin bumpy,
I’m surprised it doesn’t scare the kids.

I’m a cheap date.
$1.50 hot dog birthday dinner.
And it was sooo good.

The Black Crowes + Randoms

After quite a lull in live music
my life was suddenly filled
with concerts last week.
Here’s one quick story
in photos
with another
music adventure
coming soon.

On Saturday, Todd and I
met up with our friend
(and my old roommate)
who now plays guitar for
The Black Crowes.

He hooked us up with
backstage passes.

A cold, but fun night indeed!

So this is a little random,
but here are some photos
that I somehow forgot to post.

Sadly, we didn’t beat Bama
but at least we looked cute?

It was a day that we counted down to for months.
It was a game that we should have won.
Sadly, it was a game that we lost.

Despite the immense disappointment
the excitement that surrounded the game
was incredible.

Here’s the fun we had
supporting our Hogs.
Win or lose.

The excitement invaded the whole weekend.
With friends in from out of town
and a party at Jill & Ben’s.

Despite the loss,

walked over to Smoke & Barrel
to eat our cupcakes, drink a beer, & watch it on the big screen.
